Summer 2010 Newsletter

What a great start to our summer! Clinics, leagues, drills, mens night & match play are going great! Don't worry the yard work will get done! Come & join us at the DTC for some fun!!

Junior Clinics: May 3 - May 24 (4 weeks)
Pee Wee - (Ages 3-5): Mondays 4:00-4:30 p.m.
Cost: $24 Members, $44 Non-members.
Beginner/Advanced Beginner - Mondays 4:30-5:30 p.m. This group is for Juniors 6 & up who are not able to serve from the baseline. Cost: $40 Members, $60 Non-members.
Future Stars - Mondays 5:30-6:30 p.m. Geared towards Juniors who are serving from the baseline and have some tennis experience. Cost: $40 Members, $60 Non-members.
Tournament Training - May 5-May 26. Wednesdays 4:30-5:30 p.m. This class is reserved for tournament level Junior players. Cost: $40 Members, $60 Non-members.

SUMMER CAMPS - No Club Membership Required
High School Camp - June 7-11, 11:00a.m. - 3:00p.m. *$125 per student
Jr. Camps - June 14-18
Ages 3-6 9:00-11:00a.m. *$60 per student
Ages 7 through Jr. High 11:00a.m.-4:00p.m. *$125 per student
*families with more than one child may deduct $10 per child.

Summer Junior Clinics: June 21-July 26 (6 weeks)
Pee Wee - (Ages 3-5) - Mondays 10:30-11:00 a.m. Cost: $36 Members, $56 Non-members
Beginner/Advanced Beginner - Mondays 9:30-10:30 a.m. June 21-July 26 (6 weeks)
This group is for Juniors 6 & up who are not able to serve from the baseline.
Cost: $60 Members, $80 Non-members
Future Stars - Mondays 11:00-12:00 a.m. June 21 - July 26 (6 weeks)
This is geared towards Juniors who are serving from the baseline and have some tennis experience. Cost $60 Members, $80 Non-members.
Tournament Training - Mondays 3:00-4:30 p.m.
June 21-July 26 (6 Weeks). This class is reserved for tournament level Junior players. Cost: $90 Members, $110 Non-members.

Drills - We have started Wednesday morning drills again from 9:30 - 11:00. We have a great group participating, come join the fun!

DHS Boys Tennis - We have had 4 home matches already with one more to go. Come out and support the team on Tuesday, May 18, 4:00 for Senior night against Urbana.

Adult Camp - Get ready for the Greater Danville Area Open Tournament with our Adult Camp, July 19-22, 5:30-7:00. $12 per night or $40 for the week.

Parent/Child Tournament - Kick-off the tournament with our 3rd annual Parent/Child Tournament, Saturday, July 17, 11:00 Pizza, pop, tennis & fun, $15 per team. Sign up sheet is on the bulletin board.

Cincinnati Tennis TripJoin us for a fun filled trip to the Cincinnati Western/Southern Masters, Thursday, August 19 & 20. Your choice: one or two days of tennis, or one day of tennis and one day at Kings Island. For more information check at the desk.

Boy's & Girl's Club Camp - Our 3rd Annual Boys & Girls Camp will be July 5th-July 8th from 12:00-2:30. This is a chance to get a racquet in the hands of over 30 juniors that may never get an opportunity to play tennis. THis is a free camp, if anyone would like to volunteer their time to help out, let me know!

Welcome New Employees - We have added two new employees to the DTC Staff. They are Adam Huls and Isabela Dias.

Summer Memberships - Summer Memberships run from June 1 to September 30!
Family Summer Membership is $85
Individual Summer Membership is $60
Junior Summer Membership is $35

Summer Pass - Unlimited Summer Play can be purchased for families for $90 and individuals for $60. This pass will cover court costs, both inside and outside, from June 1 to September 30. It does not cover activities such as drills, leagues, clinics, ect. This is for members only.
